The promenade is lined with cafes, restaurants, hotels and benches, while the beach provides showers, changing rooms, sunbeds and lifeguard cover in the summer and holds Blue Flag recognition for clean water and management. Visitors often combine swimming or sunbathing with a stroll along the palm-lined promenade, boat trips from the marina or evening dining in the adjacent town centre.
